Dogo Argentino
& Chihuahua breeding

from the Elba

Here I would like to tell you briefly how I came to love our dogs and Dogo Argentino and Chihuahua breeding.
Actually - as far as I can remember - I have always loved dogs and luckily I also had a Colli bitch from a friend that I could always walk with. At some point my wish for my own dog became so strong that I bought my own dog when I was 16: - it was a pit bull. Many may now say how can you breed such a strong breed at that age, but what should I say: it was the best decision for me! My dog was always by my side and we both learned a lot from each other and the breed doesn't matter at all, but the attitude of people. Because dogs are just as different as we are! I learned one thing, you have to be able to get involved with every dog, no matter what breed because no dog is born evil!
My wonderful children were born in 2001, 2003 and 2007, and they always had dogs by their side, because there is nothing better when children grow up with animals, especially dogs.
One day I was with my husband (it was 2007) at a large horse market and we saw him
a beautiful elegant and sublime dog in white. We both looked at each other and had the same idea, we wanted to learn more about this breed. The owner explained something to us about the breed, because at that time we didn't know this breed. What can I tell you ..... When we got home, we researched and decided to buy one of these great breeds ourselves. It all started in 2008 with our bitch Hera, she was and is a great bitch loves her family and is wonderful to our children, what makes this breed apart from hunting. Of course there are differences in the breed, the hunting instinct is of course not very strong in all but they are all suitable as a family dog. So I decided to breed this breed. Over the years we have built and converted a lot on our large 3000 sqm plot. All our dogs have extra rooms with underfloor heating and of course plenty of space to run around. In recent years our dogo pack has grown to five girls and one male.
What should I tell you about chihuahuas .......
One day my daughter really wanted her own dog and since we didn't want another big dog of another breed, she suggested the Chihuahua. "Hmm" I thought and so it is certainly the case for many who always had big dogs "what should you do with such a small dog?"
I tell you, when our or my daughter's first Chihuahua moved in here, everything changed, especially the attitude towards these little ones. This breed, despite being so small, is crazy, loving, l run as if there is no after that have Superman Syndrome and above all they are dogs, no matter if they only have 3kg. They run and run with our big ones as well and just want to be dogs. There are absolutely no pocket dogs, even if this can sometimes be very useful when outing - many small dog owners know what I mean. Anyway, I can tell you that these little dogs must and can be brought up and then there is nothing in the way of life with children and all dogs, no matter what breed.
In the meantime, our little pack consists of five girls and two males, who of course all live together in our large 240sqm house. I tell you our dogs can of course go everywhere with us ;-).

I am very lucky to be able to fulfill my dream and live with our pack.
The rearing and the love of us and our mothers are the absolute madness and there is nothing better for me than to live for my dogs and the little bundles of joy.
A big thank you also goes to my husband, of course, because without him all of this would not be possible.
He is always by my side and loves our dogs as much as I do.
